The Challenge
Luxury Yacht Group needed to migrate data from their legacy database to a new database while ensuring complete data accuracy — including data clean-up and deduplication of records that had accumulated over years of operation. The platform also needed to be re-architected to support a modern microservices-based API structure for scalability and maintainability.
Our Solution
MagnusMinds developed a custom web-based application to migrate data from the legacy database to the new database, including data clean-up and data deduplication with manual review workflows to ensure accuracy. The entire platform was developed as a microservices architecture, enabling each service — crew placement, charter bookings, yacht sales, payroll, and maintenance — to be deployed and scaled independently.
